Sure, TERFs are bad and all, but did you know that men and non-binary people on testosterone are being coerced into unnecessary hysterectomies by UK clinicians? The real scandal in trans healthcare has always been a lack of informed consent. https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/0959353517747007
Trans patients need to be empowered to make their own decisions about their bodies and what medical interventions they do and don't want, based on the full available evidence, and an open admission of ignorance where evidence isn't available. This is such a simple principle.
