I dream of utopias every day. I work towards justice everyday.
But my politics are always guided by an ANC senior I met during liberation who warned me that revolutions require blood and suffering of the most vulnerable yet their needs are always put last.

Democracy is HARD work. It is sustained work. And while not perfect, it is the only political system that is geared for ever greater expansion of liberties for all of us.
