In 2006 two young guys came to see me separately for similar reasons.
One was struggling but had an uncle who promised to set him up.The second guy had a father he felt he could collect N10M from to start something. They both wanted to go into poultry.

I charged them 20k each for a business proposal(e small sha 😜😜).Land in the interior part of Odeda Local govt.(Ogun state) sold for 30k per plot then. So I did a 1000 pullets proposal for the first guy and the second guy got a 5000 pullets proposal.cThe "omo baba olowo (O.B.O)
came back September 2006 to inform me that 10M had landed in his account😳😳😳. No be small thing oo🎼🎼. We bought 1 acre in Odeda and set up a 7,000 capacity pen because we had expansion in mind and also constructed a brooding pen. After the whole preparation, the chicks came
in November and to God be the glory, we saw the first egg after 18 weeks and 4days. Very lucky dude. The first guy came to me August 2007 that the uncle could do 500 pullets. I told him that it wasn't bad for a start. We set up a 1000 capacity farm for him but a bit farther from
Odeda. The guy with 5000 capacity started misbehaving after the birds started laying at 90% production. My consultation fee wasn't paid for two months. I asked him and he said he was planning something. I later heard that he said he doesn't really need me again because he had
seen how simple the thing was. I stopped going to the farm and he didn't bother calling. The other guy told me he couldn't afford much so we agreed on a meagre fee. I did it diligently offering more time because the guy was hardworking. In 2010, the young farmer with 500 birds
had grown his farm to 3000 capacity. Omo Baba Olowo finished his farm in just 3 years. I heard he built a farm house and furnished a bedroom meant for "Shoki Shoki🙆🙆) of female ministers in his ministry.
Discipline and experience cannot be over emphasized in this poultry
business. Even the experienced farmers still reach out to other farmers to jaw-jaws. Prudence is key if you want to succeed in this business. We all want to move forward in business but must be willing to go the path of discipline and patience.
Have a productive day peeps.🙏🙏
