Life Lessons From Driving

I have been driving consistently for over 2 months now and I have picked up a handful of lessons I think everyone can apply in their lives.
The first time I went out (without my instructor), I took a quick turn and hit my tyre against the pavement and burst them. It took some courage for me to get back into the car after I had a vulcanizer change the tires.
The first lesson is - Be courageous, the fact that it didn't go as planned the first time should not stop you from trying again.

This happens a lot when we try new things, we face new challenges almost immediately; mine happened a few minutes after the driver delivered the car.
I spent almost 10 minutes looking for someone to help me reverse the car from the location it was, I didn't see anybody and had to get back into the car and drive back home. I was able to do this with the help of the vulcanizer, he directed traffic while I tried turning.
Lesson 2 - It is okay to ask for help in the beginning. I would have struggled to reverse if the boy didn't help.

Lesson 3 - Take it easy in the beginning, The first few weeks of driving, I didn't exceed 40KMPH.
I got this advice from a man after the first accident, he told me to drive slowly even if people behind me are pressuring me to speed up.

This saved me a lot of trouble in the beginning.
Lesson 4 - You get better with practice, I am a better driver than I was a few months ago. Now I compete with most cars on the road (not advisable) but it was very different in the beginning; even Keke drivers overtook me in the first few weeks.
Lastly don't be afraid to be labeled a beginner, a lot of people don't use the L sign they start driving. I was different,
I used that signed for weeks and it helped a lot, drivers on the road saw I was a learner and it helped them take better decisions and allowed me to make mistakes without pressure from other drivers.
