It all began when me and my buddies found ourselves going viral in what was just another ordinary day of work. Some guy snapped a pic and posted me and my boys.
After a few hours my phone started ringing. News folk. Media folk. They wanted the story. But the dirty little secret was, there was no story. Still, I was young and wide-eyed. I wanted to see where this ride took me. People started noticing me. Me!
In 48 hours I had an agent. My boss let me take some time off I had a few sick days left. But at this rate, I didn’t expect to go back. Then my phone rang...
There was a late cancellation with Fallon. ...he called me directly. I kinda nailed it. “A natural,” they said.
My phone rang again...
And again...
within two weeks, I was Hosting SNL. In one sketch I stuffed envelopes into a mailman and screamed “HOW DO YOU LIKE IT?!” It’s since become a bit of a catch phrase of mine. “HOW DO YOU LIKE IT?!” Lorne said I killed.
After doing a few speeches for the DNC (it was an election year) I got a call. And this one took my stardom to the next level...
The first Post-Presidentially Awarded Medal of Freedom. “it technically isn’t constitutional but that’s never stopped me,” he said.
“How do you like That?!” O said during the photo op

Then the election happened.
And my phone stopped ringing. My agent wouldn’t return my calls. And I got a letter telling my he had dropped me. I reached out to some of the political friends But nothing.
They all got what they wanted. A few dollars and a few votes.

Suddenly, the ride was over.
I was in a new sort of middle.
I swallowed my pride and called my old boss. He said he was proud of me but the position had been filled.
But where one door closes another opens. I am optimistic about the new partnership Ive made...
