Stranger in the Alps is about the unlikely friendship of a study-abroad student hiking in the mountains of Monaco & the reclusive widower he encounters who has lived in a cabin in the woods there since losing his family in a tragic accident decades earlier.
“Punisher” is about a superhero who moonlights as a criminal defense attorney (Arnie Hammer), who is ultimately asked to defend the evil mastermind hedge fund manager (De Niro) who created the notorious supervillain he spends his nights trying to defeat, known as the Punisher.
“Boygenius” is a poorly reviewed comedy about a genius toddler who, in an effort to be taken more seriously in his life, inhabits the body of his grandpa (De Niro), who spends the move acting and sounding like a 9 year old with an impressive Hot Wheels track setup.
“Better Oblivion Community Center” is the story of a senior home whose new owner (De Niro) turns it into a doomsday cult, encouraging the residents to disconnect from their loved ones and then defending the unusual behavior to their family members as symptoms of natural senility.
