Again, I think this point needs to be made: there is no other political party in Western democracies where Black people have equal political power as in the Democratic party. And certainly no party where Black, Latino, & Jewish people all share so much power together.

Seeing the diversity in the Democratic party should be, in my opinion, a source of inspiration. At the very least, the diversity should be remarked upon as unique. You see it nowhere else in the world. It really is one of the better, uniquely American, things we have.

And I should of course not leave out indigenous & Asian people. Or LGBTQ people. We can have our disagreements about the party, but this diversity and this shared power is so unique and it should be respected & celebrated.
