But when you're wild camping, you have to ration everything from food supplies to your phone battery. You have to question whether the things you're bringing with you are a necessity or just added weight for no reason

To find a good spot to camp, you have to hike far and look hard. To get water, you have to fetch it from a stream. To eat, you have to start a fire from scratch and cook

I feel as though we don't realise how privileged we are with the things we have and going camping builds this appreciation

Camping obv is not for everyone but take some time out and give it a go. Worst comes to worst, you don't like it but you had a new experience and have a story to tell
