I think one of the hardest pills for me to swallow is that not everybody is going to be nice to you & treat you like their equal unless you have something that can benefit them or their image

I always tell myself that I don't need people in my life that make me feel inadequate for no reason but man it's hard to ignore when these people are friends w your friends, support them & are so nice to them & then treat you like you don't exist

like what did I do to you? was I not warm & inviting? did I tell too many dad jokes? do you not see any potential in me? are my snares shitty? do I smell ?????
