First, 16% of Asian American registered voters we interviewed have not made up their mind; 54% say they will vote for Biden, 29% say Trump. This means that among the 84 percent who have made up their minds, nearly two-thirds support Biden, one-third support Trump (2/n)
Party ID remains in line with past surveys; almost 1/2 self-identify as Democrat (47%), one fifth as Republican (20%), and almost one-third (32%) say that they are Independent, don’t know, or do not identify with political parties. (3/n)
Among #AsianAmerican voters who identify as Independent/other, about one-third lean Democrat (32 %), one-fifth lean Republican (22%), and the rest lean toward neither (46%).
Finally, most #AsianAmerican registered voters (56%) say that they have NOT gotten contacted by the Democratic Party, and the proportion is similar for lack of contact by the Republican Party (59%).
