In June, Sen. Louise Lucas, leader of the Virginia Senate, called for Portsmouth police chief to be fired after the Portsmouth police tried to arrest police protesters.

Now that very same chief has announced bogus felony charges against Sen. Lucas and NAACP leaders.
Senator Lucas grew up in Jim Crow Virginia. For almost 30 years, she's represented Portsmouth and the people of Virginia. At a protest at a Confederate Memorial she reminded police they could not arrest peaceful protesters.

This is what they do in response.
