Please stop saying that because voting machines aren't connected to internet they're unhackable. First, some voting machines *are* connected to internet. Second, any computer is hackable whether connected or not. You don't have to get to machines thru the internet to hack them.
If you're a journalist and en election official tells you their voting machines can't be hacked, please don't quote them in an article without speaking to a computer security expert to counter this false statement in your piece. Otherwise, you're spreading misinformation.
Exhibit A. This is just a handy one that's at my fingertips. But there are many others.
