1/ THREAD: 'My Pillow' guy (Michael Lindell) & Ben Carson (HUD Sec.) are pushing Oleandrin as a treatment for #COVID19. Oleandrin is extract from the Oleander Plant. Consuming any Oleander is poisonous & potentially fatal. Trump advocating this as a treatment will lead to deaths.
2/ Oleandrin or Oleander plants have NEVER been shown to be beneficial in any way for the treatment of #COVID19. Do not take any commercially available Oleandrin or Oleander botanical extracts — and do not eat, smoke, drink, consume in any way any part of the Oleander plant.
3/ Any treatment for or prevention of #COVID19 should be undertaken solely under the direct supervision of your personal physician.
