how many fucking person-hours were wasted this summer planning every nook and corner of hygiene theatre to justify some small percentage of f2f classes and getting students into the dorms? UNC lasted barely a week.
I can appreciate the thought in maybe April or May that things might be okay come Fall. But June and July belied all good intentions. People worked hard. Very hard. What a nightmare to be the registrar. But a whole lot of other people were saying, this isn't going to work because the virus doesn't care. So yes, lots of hard work, kinda like a turtle on its back.
Oh look, Notre Dame is pressing pause... https://twitter.com/WSJ/status/1295828996718985217?s=20
