Reasons why Haller will succeed next season. A Thread
In the 19/20 season Haller won the most aerial duels last season (218). If we can get a player to support him to get on the end of his headers that he wins this will definitely increase our chances of winning games/creating goal chances etc
In Hallers first season he managed a total of 7 goals in the Premier League. Quite impressive for a relegation battling team that season and with no support all year. Furthermore, Haller is a big player (6’3) so introducing creative players will increase his chances of more goals
Another thing that gives me a reason to believe Haller will succeed next season is that in his first season in Frankfurt he managed 13 G/A in the Bundesliga, very similar to what he got in the Premier League (9 G/A) and then he went and got a 24 G/A the following season...
Carrying on, in his second season with Frankfurt he got 24 G/A as I said, which was 15 goals 9 assists. Not a bad amount of assists for a striker. There is no doubt Haller needs more service, so with Bowen and Dinagana (who are creative players) coming in...
...I can’t see why he can’t get the same numbers he got with Frankfurt
In conclusion we can see that Haller needs time to adapt to the League and then he starts going. He’s had his first season and it was satisfying, so I’m very excited to see what he brings next season ⚒
