Has anyone done an analysis of recurrent youth riots and violence in western cities as being a complex mating ritual?
It seems fairly obvious to me that the reason most young people are attending these riots isn't because they believe in the cause, or even because they like to LARP revolution.
The existence of a critical mass of young women at these protests causes a critical mass of young men to follow them and engage in an almost-peacock like "dance" that involves saying "ACAB" and throwing motolov cocktails.
The harder you can prove your dedication to ACAB, the likelihood that you walk away that night with a new sex partner.
It's like tribal rituals involving mock combat between young males in front of the tribe, and then marrying them off to the flock of young women watching.
