This is how Liverpool build up. 5 guys back. The width comes from Trent and Robertson. Firmino drops deep and salah and mane get in behind. If the ball is lost they have Wijnaldum, Fabinho and Henderson back. Klopp has a defensive plan.
Enter Chelsea. if I'm going off Twitter managers logic. This is our shape in build up. If we lose the ball we're fucked. Nobody but Kante and our 2 center backs are back. Reguilon and Reece would be high & wide & Mount & Havertz would be in & around the box. No defensive plan
If Lampard plays a 4-2-3-1 now we'll have at least 4 players back. I'd swap Kovacic for another DM just for some extra security. If Chilwell is pushing high Reece stays and vice versa. Havertz behind Timo to hold up the ball and we can attack in so many ways.
