Then what happens is that at the end of each lyric video they upload they put a 15-30 second clip of their own music.

How does a copyright claim work?
Well the basics of it is that when a company/person copyright claims your video, if monetised, it takes the money revenue from that video itself. Making sure you don't make any money off their art/work.

These lyric channels copyright claim their own video quicker than kpop companies can. This causes the lyric channel owner to make all the money from the video since they copyright claimed it first.

The other way is that because the kpop song is in the video, youtube splits the money revenue between the two. Making sure both the channel owner and Kpop company gets paid.
Why is this bad you may ask?
This is bad because kpop lyric channels upload messy lyric videos that aren't correct most of the time and profit off the artist's work. These lyric videos are made IN POWERPOINT and take less than 30 minutes to make. Its quick money for them.
