There's a big problem with the theorie "Cloud is Zack".
First of all it's bullshit, but let's pretend people would have a point. IF Cloud WAS Zack until the lifestream situation... You are supporting Zifa. None of his actions/feelings are his own? Okay. No Cloti then.

Sorry to disappoint you, but this whole theory of Cloud being Zack is so old and such a giant bullshit. I can't hear it anymore. It's simply wrong. Cloud NEVER was Zack. Don't dishonor the characters just because their behavior and feelings don't fit your fanon.
Zack was his friend and Cloud respected him. He loved him as a dear friend and he had to watch him die right in front of his eyes. The schock about this made him forget Zack to a certain point
and the rest of his messy life traumatized him. He didn't take Zacks nature or life for his own. He mixed up his memories that matched into his illusion of a perfect life. He just took matching parts of Zacks life as a SOLDIER.
You dishonor Zacks memory with your theory and you disgrace Cloud as a character himself by creating these lies. You don't like Aerith/Clerith? Fine. You don't have to. But stop spilling bullshit because you want to justify your own preferences. Take the characters like they are.
And not just the imagination of a character that fits into your fanon or at least be respectful enough not to start stupid fanwars.
