These greenhouse gases come from animals who eat poorly.
Have you ever eaten poorly and paid the price (gas-wise)?
Stop feeding animals what their bodies don't want. Feed ruminates grass with moderate amount of legumes (maybe infrequent grains — not dietary staples). 5/8

While grains pack more energy (and pounds) onto these ruminants, grass will sequester more carbon out the atmosphere. Grass beats crops, shrubs, and trees (yes, grass > trees) at removing carbon from the air. 6/8
This is much easier said than done for big ag because the system that's in place. I don't have a plan for how big ag can fix this, but I have thoughts on how *we* can.

- ask you waiter about where the meat comes from
