/ Not going to lie, i remember 2017 bullrun too well not to forget the absolute terror in the altcoin markets whenever BTC moved. Some new people here might think that altcoins only mooned in 2017. No, they haven't. It was mostly BTC bulls making money with few periods of alts
/ Major bull market for alts happened in spring of 2017, by May most OG's coins put in their ATH they've never crossed since then. This is when most people joined, I joined too. I remember how friend showed me $STRAT 7000% run & I opened Bittrex account, that was the top
/ I remember how many times I regretted owning alts during 2017 and wish I would never spent my precious BTC. It seemed like BTC won't ever stop pumping and altcoins will never stop dumping. Absolute bloodbath
/ Only after BTC put in ATH in December 2017, alts led by ETH rallied (basically it was exit pump to end that bullmarket). You only had like 2 months to act on it all while BTC was already on its way to 6k for the first time. Weird time!
/ Advice to myself and others: IF this bullmarket turns out to be the same, don't marry your bags, don't overexpose and always manage your risk. Learn on mistakes of others!
/ To add to last point: you might argue this time won't be the same because $ETH is the new leader and DeFi bla bla bla but let me tell you this: we had it already in 2017. People legitimately talked of "The Flippening". $ETH was 15% of BTC price at one point (its 3% now)
