I'm going to tweet my best social media advice today. It's a weird one. But it is the #1 tool I use and probably the only piece of advice I would give to everyone:
Have 1 (one) organized folder with EVERY promo image you have in it, in a cloud, accessible on all devices.

Mine is the first thing that pops up on my dropbox (because it's named #1 and # comes before all numbers) & is organized by series, and within that by book.
Some of the things I have in those folders:
* Covers in various sizes, including high res, thumbnail, 3d book covers, transparent 3d book covers, and where possible the cover art with no test.
* Meta data including blurbs, ISBNs, release info, buy links, and review quotes

* Blank images in various social media friendly sizes that I can quickly throw a text/quote/promotional information on.
* various sizes & transparencies of any logos I have so that I can quickly make new images, or upload them for swag.
* Any inspiration pictures I might want to use for a book, setting, or mood. (Royalty free stock photos only--I do NOT use any images for promotion that I didn't pay for.)
Being good at social media can be about long-term strategy and often is, but it's also about being flexible, able to take advantage of a given moment, being able to jump on an opportunity, and not wasting work you've done.
Here's a promo image I made in 2015! I can use it still!
