I've seen us poll at 5% now, and I'm angry and frustrated. There are 50-80 seats that will only go Lib Dem from Tory. This calamitous Govt need thoroughly holding to account - we aren't cutting through
under the current leadership. I'm playing the policy here, not the politician - it's just not good enough. We need to change. Clearly that change needs to be radical, swift & thoroughly effective. Politics is a business too - we need more effective candidates. Ones that will
work the seat effectively - a constituency is won in 5 years, not 5 weeks. We need to present our Liberal decency effectively and professionally. Activists need to be empowered, better tactics need to be employed to retake seats we should never have lost, and to take seats
for the first time where an unexpected, and woeful Tory newbie is floundering. Labour are NOT our enemy. We disagree on much, but tribalism will finish us off. Democracy and decency are under sustained attack, and a progressive alliance MUST now be formed, to enable PR
AND co-operate for ONE electoral event only - to get rid of this Govt. Coalition is gone, before my time. We must move on. I don't know any colleagues who don't admit we made mistakes. That seems like a lifetime ago, times change - everything has changed politically, and we
must change too. A centre-left, socially Liberal, inclusive entity with a realistic aim of holding enough seats (no rubbish about overall majorities, no fallacies) & a strong, centrist presence, with loud, clear voices and clear, professional messages. I urge those undecided
to vote to change. To vote for change. To vote for the break-through politician of 2020, the clear visionary leader we need. I started at 5%, I finish there. Not good enough. Not close to good enough... #VoteLayla
