My mail clerk said she's no longer seeing DEM political mail.

They're required to photocopy all political mail & log it in - every single piece. Normally she sees a mix of GOP & DEM mailers, but for past 2 months she's logged ONLY Trump mailers. She showed me her log.

Please RT
PO is in semi-rural suburb of Baltimore, part of Baltimore County. She's the only clerk (seriously - PO closes 1 hour each afternoon so she can have lunch), so she sees ALL the mail that goes through.
This policy of photocopying all political mail, back & front, & logging it is not new. Been that way for years. She does it for every political mailer for every customer & she says all POs are required to do that.
What's new is that for past 2 months, she's seen ONLY Trump/GOP mailers come in from sorting centers. This is, btw, a very blue state so that's crazy.

Only exception was a local DEM candidate who dropped off her own mailers directly (they didn't go thru sorting center 1st).
I found the USPS page that describes this process. Political mail is tagged & clerks have to process it differently. https://about.usps.com/postal-bulletin/2014/pb22391/html/cover_003.htm
If reporters are interested in checking into this, DM me and I can put you in touch with the clerk.
She doesn't know why she's logged no DEM mailers in 2 months & can't say for sure something sinister is afoot or what's happening to it.

She has, however, worked in PO for decades & says it is extremely atypical & something she's never seen before.
There must be other PO clerks following me. Anyone else seeing this?

Check your log books.

It might be easier for her to spot because she's the ONLY clerk for that office & logs every piece of political mail herself. It can't be happening just here, tho.
If this is something abnormal, reporters should be able to check on it easily - just call post offices around the country and ask them to check their log books.

Could simply be an aberration based on normal operations, or could be something else. Let's find out.
