Learn the difference between enemy & rival. An enemy is someone you fight against with an opposing goal. A rival is someone you compete with toward the same goal.
Russia, China & the US are rivals in the game of capitalist hegemony. They may dispute over who gets to control a territory, political systems & trade issues but they're ultimately allies in maintaining the global economic order
None of these superstates are allies to the proletariat in that they all fundamentally oppose our goals. They have no interest in socialism, autonomy or egalitarianism. They're capitalists, they're managers. They want to dictate to the world rather than let the world build itself
As power blocs collapse & re-emerge, even such reductive "socialkst state v bourgeois state" dichotomies became irrelevant. The US BUILT Russia's contemporary economic structure. Putin is the Trumpian figure to rise from that muck. China underwent massive reforms that opened it
up to foreign capital. In creating the new globalized economy, China became a massive producer allowing foreign companies to use their labor to undercut nationalization policies in the West. They're a key part to how the IMF World Bank etc function.
Without that labor pool, the global capitalist system couldn't operate. Essentially, its built off slavery & extractivism. China willingly merged itself with this dynamic. So now the only game in town is the one we were fighting along.
All these IR debates about the superstates allying for world peace miss the development in the last 30 years where they're more or less allied in maintaining the system that ravaged the world. There is no imperial alternative. Its all empire.
