Counties are looking to own/monetise them but sponsorship etc is incompatible with BBC commentary

Honestly, there has to be a solution here, or everyone loses.

BBC comms have revitalised coverage of county game. Created a community.

Streams are a huge step change.

BBC have 3 people on per game often
It's a bit homespun at times but that's fine. We're friends

BBC has many issues right now but funding coverage of our national sport is right in its sweet spot. Given market will not cover it.(Likewise 'the arts', & that's not my thing)

I can see a situ where counties bring in own commentary teams as BBC can't move in this area. May not be as good.

All seems unnecessary given fans have finally got they want
