I think we would be much more effective in our optics if we didn’t tell sob stories from a blue collar perspective and instead focused on more critical questions about political economy and the wealth of nations.
Given the BLM narrative flood right now, complaining about exploitation by businessmen is going to push away a lot of people who would otherwise be sympathetic if you couched CST in terms of noblesse oblige and fair dealings among men with families.
The virtuous businessman is a much more compelling image than the idea of vindictive revenge against businessmen, which doesn’t appeal to the better instincts of people with the acumen to effect social change.
It instead appeals primarily to those who already angry and can’t do anything about it besides complain and burn shit down.
But we should be appealing to people who can build things up instead. There is no such thing as a successful peasant republic & there never will be. It’s like trying to search for talent and only choosing the left half of a standard distribution. Bad results are guaranteed.
