Teachers predicted disgracefully over-inflated grades. Scotland and Wales choosing to go with those grades not only means no employer will trust any grades from that year group, it also makes the years before and after look comparatively shit.

Tell unis there's a moratorium on withdrawing places. Any kid that feels hard done by can prove it by doing their exams and starting uni a couple weeks late if they get the grades. Everyone else just get on with it. Stop pissing about.

And of course, the teachers who predicted these ridiculously over-inflated grades suffer no consequences whatsoever. Are we meant to believe they didn't realise they were bumping the grades up to ridiculous levels? Come on. They knew exactly what they were doing. Grim.
Just watch for the first report of kids being turned away from unis despite getting their grades because the inflated teacher-based grades has caused too many people to "get the grades" to get in
