Several members of the left liberal media & many foreign publications have conveniently used the blurred line between Freedom of Expression & hate speech to their convenience with a sense of entitlement.
Any thought or ideology different from theirs that does not conform with their narrative, has elicited manufactured rage & victimhood. They have used these to spread fear & misinformation with total impunity.
The narrative around Sri Ram Janmabhumi Temple is a case in point. They have tried to raise doubts against a decision reached with consensus & by following due legal process. Neither of the parties concerned had any misgivings about the SC judgement.
Both Hindus & Muslims accepted it gracefully. Yet, it is the left liberal media which has expressed unhappiness ever since. It has used faith as a political tool to stoke fear in the minds of our minorities & strived to have the majority community feel like a persecuted minority.
Any opposing view was labelled as hateful, any leader standing up for the temple, centrist or right leaning ideology was branded as a peddler of hate. But look who's talking. It is Congress leaders & members of the family who have hatefully ranted against PM Modi.
They have called him names & crossed all boundaries of civilised communication. Some of their senior & ‘respected’ leaders have used choicest invectives between 2018-19 against a democratically elected PM.
And look at the irony.
The same leaders, media groups & parties now claim to be victims who are not being allowed to use their Freedom of Expression!
