Colleges bringing young people back to tell them to take all their classes in a dorm room by themselves with limited interaction with others is in general cruel.

This is not a decision being made in the interest of college students. I agree with @profgalloway who spoke bluntly to how money clouded the decision to bring them back here. http://Smarturl.it/inthebubble
When can students come back safely? In my view:
-When there is adequate low cost testing so each student can be tested multiple times/week— including non-symptomatic
-When there are enough tests for the extended community. Not just faculty but local business

-When students who arrive can have a REALISTIC experience with masks & distancing & small gatherings
-When facilities can be set up as tents, buildings & ventilation
-When housing needs can be met
