5 STEPS TO CONTROLLING YOUR EMOTIONS.

As much as we're talking about controlling our emotions on anything it might sound a clichè if we don't know exactly how to control them.
Day by day we are driven by emotions. At times we cry because we are hurt and make sacrifices because we love.

With no doubt, our emotions dictate our thoughts, intentions and actions with superior authority to our rational minds.
1. Don't react right away- this is a gross mistake. It goes without saying you will say or do something you will later regret. Learn to take a deep breath and stabilize the overwhelming impulse.
2. Find a healthy outlet- Now that you didn't act right away, you will need to release your emotions in a healthy way. Talk to someone, meditate or do some exercises.
3. See the bigger picture- Every happening of our lives whether good or bad serves a greater purpose. There is a reason for everything. Be wise to learn from everything.
4. Replace your thoughts- Whenever confronted by that emotion making you think or feel something bad, force it out of your mind by replacing it with better and positive thoughts. Think about something else instead.
5. Forgive your emotional triggers- This is the hardest but most important step. Your emotional triggers might be your friends, family member, what you do, yourself or all. As you forgive, you will find yourself easily disassociating from the harsh feelings attached to anything.
