Anytime i see arguments of faith and wisdom, I'm saddened. You think Abraham wasn't wise to leave his father's house to a place he didn't know? Noah when he agreed to build the ark?Daniel when he defied the king's orders not to pray? The three hebrew boys when they refused to bow?
Paul wasn't wise enough keep preaching a religion in violation of Rome’s law and keep going to jail for it? Wisdom will make Peter agree to join Jesus walk on water? Most importantly wisdom? To believe an account of God sending his son to die for us?
I've been looking into this issue of faith. In Matthew 17:20, Jesus tells us the power of our faith. Same faith Abraham had? The same the three hebrew boys exhibited? Clearly, there are dimensions to faith that are greatly influenced by your dealings with God.
There's definitely something they knew that was responsible for their level of faith.
Now...We all agree... The default position of the Christian is to live in obedience to their government. To live quiet and peaceful lives so as to not stir up the government against us (1 Tim. 2:2; 1 Thess. 4:11)

But i want us to look at a few things...
In Mark 1:40-42, Jesus heals a leper. When obviously he wasn't supposed touch him.

Also, various instances where Jesus works and heals on the sabbath.

So, there are two perspectives here. And i feel every conviction should be absolutely personal, as per your dealings with God.
I don't know that which you have heard and i don't know what you know, so it's unnecessary to attack you with insults.

Being wise doesn't mean you don't have faith. But also, having faith doesn't mean you're not applying wisdom.
It's very true that most of the Christians still haven't come to terms with the life we've been called to. There's a lot we don't know and a lot to learn on this journey. Rather than join unbelievers attack the church, let's cover ourselves up as we journey in love.
I'm sure most of my friends know my stand when it comes to applying this topic during this pandemic. But I'll not make a doctrine out of it. If per your revelation of who God is you don't need protection, who am i to force you?
If yes, you wore protection during a pandemic and it made you uncomfortable while worshiping and you take it off, who am i to rebuke you?
Why? Because i know of a certain David who wasn't comfortable with armor because of his revelation of God, went to battle raw and still won.
When you carry all your money, put in an envelope and drop at the altar, are you telling me you didn't apply wisdom there? No! You did that based on a revelation of the God you serve and knowledge of the outcome of that action.
This thread isn't to put up a defence at all. All am i saying is let's admit we're not "there" yet and humbly seek the God we serve and get a firm grasp of the life we have in Christ.

And let's stop the unnecessary use of scripture to defend our lack of knowledge or ignorance.
Daniel 11:32 - "...but the people that do KNOW their God shall be strong, and do exploits."

DO YOU KNOW GOD?

DO YOU KNOW THE MANY POSSIBILITIES IN GOD?

ARE YOU ENGAGING THE TREMENDOUS POWER MADE AVAILABLE TO YOU AS A BELIEVER?

DO YOU KNOW YOUR IDENTITY IN CHRIST?
Deeply reflect on these and do yourself and the entire body a favor by journeying deeper with God. THERE IS MORE!
On the lighter side, imagine Apostle Paul looking for gloves to wear before he healed people of diseases 😂

But come to think of it, our pastors have performed great miracles in relation to diseases. Why is Covid-19 pulling out the "wisdom card"? 😂 🤔
Anyway guys... Let's love ourselves. It is very necessary.

Stay blessed and have a wonderful day!

Much love!
