THREAD | How i would rebuild Barcelona without any major signing...

It's a very challenging task, Barcelona spent a lot in recent years without any real improvements on the squad... Neymar's departure still haunts the club and the question is: Can you rebuild without spending lot of money? I think Yes!

- First step Signing a top coach and my 3 candidates will be :

- Ten hag : Fits perfectly the philosophy of the club, great with youngsters, a disciple of Guardiola and Ajax coach.
- Pochettino : Knows the city and the league, plays attractive football (1)

and very good with youngsters but some fans might not want an ex Espanyol coach/player.

- Xavi : Son of the club and legend of the game, seen as the new Guardiola... Lacks experience but he knows the club and the expectations, knows Messi and how to deal with him.

Last two coaches to win Barcelona a CL title were ex-legends, but due to lack of experience, I'll go with Ten hag here and Xavi as his assistant.

The most important part is the rebuild, Messi isn't eternal and it's important we have a coach who is experienced with youngsters.

Now that we have our coach, the cleaning starts :

- Arthur
- Braithwaite
- Arturo Vidal
- Rakitic
- Sergi Roberto
- Luis Suarez
- Coutinho

The most important thing is to reduce the wage bill while trying to get around 100M to finance the rebuild.

Arrivals :

- Gerard Moreno = 35M
- José Gayà = 30M
- José Campaña = 20M
- Emerson = 15M
- Eric Garcia = 15M

Nothing flashy, La liga proven players for around 115M keeping a net spend of 15M only while reducing the wage bill by at least 15%.

The goal is to invest in youngsters while still being competitive.

Giving Dembele/Griezmann a 2nd chance without relying on them.

Taking all pressure from the coach, no more high expectations this must be a 3 years plan to improve while relying on youngsters.
