The second being how many of you are starting to see the cruel algorithmic design by these platforms in ensuring that workers are constantly forced into working and are nudged by UX designs in the apps. How they've been incentivised so much without actually seeing any returns.
Finally the last point is how cruel these platforms are that they would do something like this in the middle of a pandemic when job opportunities are already scarce. The rhetoric of these platforms being employment generators are now heavily being questioned by the public.
Ofcourse I stand in solidarity with each and every worker but I stand in awe of what their protests have done to help the general public look much more closely at what they're facing.
