Paper is a bit dated now but in 2017 I wrote about why the media (esp. ABC) fails to tell Aboriginal stories well. My conclusion was it’s because of a lack of diversity in the Australian media. As a white woman who worked at the ABC for 20 yrs I was complicit in propogating my white priveleged persons world view. I also worked inside the system to push for change. Here’s hoping @MediaDiverseAU report reignites the fire for change which many have been working towards
