If you’re an attorney that feels bad about Florida, you must speak up about October. There’s another train wreck that’s about to happen and it needs to be stopped. We’ve been discussing its problems for months. This doesn’t have to happen again. Help stop it.
Over 30,000 people are supposed to take this exam, with all times synchronized. ExamSoft tried to administer the bar in MI to less than 1,000 people... And it failed.

They're literally being investigated by the FBI for a hacking attempt. Either ExamSoft couldn't handle the load of people taking the test, or they experienced a hacking attempt. Both are unacceptable.

Extegrity, another software provider, admitted that this can't be done. https://twitter.com/BarExamTracker/status/1291478956055629824
I, like others, have been studying since JUNE. I am trying to keep so much information fresh in my mind. Information that's just sheer memorization regarding topics I will not be using in practice. I followed my bar prep pacing and still overshot things.
I lost my health insurance and pushed my start date back TWICE, and I'm lucky to still have a start date. Today, I'm buying a new laptop to use as a burner because I'm afraid of it overheating as others have experienced and because I want to minimize the risk of getting hacked.
Even if you think that the bar exam is valuable, how is this making any sense? No scratch paper? Looking at the ceiling is a cheating flag? I have to figure out what to do with my dog? No highlighting? Your internet cutting out is an auto fail?
And provisional licensing will still mean that we have to do this all over again, and I for one cannot keep all this information fresh until that time eventually comes.
I've been thinking about this tweet a lot. There are so many reasons why some voices get to stick around while others don't. So many people will be leaving this profession before even getting started. We'll never know what impact they could have had. https://twitter.com/lexlanham/status/1294290943663841282
-"What grade would you give jurisdictions, overall, on how they have handled this year’s bar exam so far?"
