I just wanna add to this that I wholeheartedly wish to center this conversation on publishing/editing and how they systemically allow slurs like this to slide.

Just look at the issues with Smash it rn with the anti Hawaiian and Palestinian statements

As a community we know that most of the change we need to see will only come around once pub houses start actually having a diverse group of employees. Including the "nearly extinct" Indigenous voices because none of this is ok to be published in 2020
