Being born into a family that stole from a country does not make you a bad person. But turning around and taunting people whose lives have been greatly affected by your parents theft of that wealth is bottom of the dumpsite, raw sewage behavior.

Since you have no ounce of guilt enough to even make you pick a cause to help or champion, rubbing dry sand in people's eyes daily speaks to the horrible personality you have. You did not steal it, but you could have as well done it by how you behave with that stolen wealth.

Imagine having the chance to turn your father's horrible legacy to something good. To change the perception of the surname you carry. But choosing to everyday leave a bad taste in everyone's mouth and perpetuate the hatred and disdain the very name evokes.

Anyway, that's what I would do. It bothers me even when I have to let go of a househelp. But we all don't care about the same things. And I guess that's okay too. As long as they sleep soundly at night after a hard day of mocking people for being poor.
