Such a cadaver, whose body parts are wrapped by Munja (Bush or grass), Bark, Kusha and Flax & kept inside a cage, was put in a slowly flowing river & allowed to decompose in an unlit area. After proper decomposition for 7 nights, it was removed from the cage & then dissected...
Slow rubbing with brushes made our of Ushira (fragrant roots of plant), Hair, Bamboo or Balvaja (coarse grass) was done. This way, skin, blood vessels, muscles & internal organs with their subdivisions were visible & could be used for deeper study.
