After hearing the same shite from @TEnglishSport about livingstons pitch is a disgrace, no place in the top league, it’s a huge advantage blah blah just because we got a result against rangers, here’s a thread of my unwanted and pointless thoughts on it.
Since promotion to the premiership we’re unbeaten at home against Killie, Accies (both of whom play on plastic), county (1 game), Hearts (1 win & a draw) and Celtic. Celtic are spending millions of pounds every season on players to compete in the champions league, their inability
to beat a wee idiot team like Livingston has nothing to do with a plastic pitch, they should be coming to the Mac’arena and going through us like we’re not even there. They have no issues doing so on Accies plastic pitch, a place they’ve won on countless consecutive occasions.
Rangers have conceded 1 goal in 5 games against Livingston at the pastadome, winning 3, 1 loss and yesterday’s 0-0, no mention of an unfair advantage for livi in their 3 wins funnily enough.
Aberdeen have a 100% record at livi since 2018, is that an unfair advantage to Aberdeen @TEnglishSport? Hibs have 2 wins and 2 defeats, pretty fair advantage for both sides? We also lost twice to one of the poorest Dundee sides known to man in our first season back.
This constant drivel that plastic pitches are such an unfair advantage, Accies have recorded more wins at ibrox & parkhead against the old firm in the past 7 years than they have at their own ground. Killie were shite on their park until they got a decent manager in.
It’s a lazy excuse anytime a big team doesn’t get what they want and if it keeps up, Jon Guthrie and Marvin Bartley will come and sort yous all out.
