jeno: hugs the waist
- can be intimate and playful
- makes you feel safe
- means he’s happy to be around you and trusts you

jaemin: hugs with his eyes closed
- helps him relish in the hug a little more
- holds onto you really tight, makes you feel warm and safe and comforted

chenle: hugs from behind
- likes to put his chin on the person he’s hugging’s shoulder
- really cute and sweet, just like him
- does it when he’s happy to be around someone :D

renjun: wraps his arms around the person’s neck from behind
- almost like he’s choking you, but in a cute way
- probably only does it with people he’s comfortable with
- maybe nuzzles his cheek on the top of your head too

haechan: the holds you really tight hugger
- asks for hugs out of nowhere bc he wants affection
- can switch from really playful and giggly hugs to warm and quiet and comforting ones
- oh to be hugged by haechan

mark: more of a side hugger
- doesn’t seem like the type to actually hug unless he’s really comfortable with you
- is probably awkward if he does, but only at first
- i know it sounds weird but he probably smells really good tbh

- poor guy is too cute for his own good, he’s safe from no one
