alright I'm going to tell you something you are Not going to want to hear

If, like me, you have a chronic disability, then you have to manage your expectations of what your body can handle in any given situation and communicate that to people relying on you
You do not have to pretend you can always do the same things as an able bodied person. I know I can't.

But you do have to communicate with your friends, and be clear about what it is you Can and Cannot do
one of the first things I say to people when I get to know them well is "ok sometimes I am just going to collapse and it's probably nothing be chill about it"

l can't help that I'm like this. It's not my fault. But if I don't tell them, that's not fair either.
The world owes us accessibility. And we owe our friends honesty about our needs and limitations.

I can't expect people to give me what I need if I don't tell them what that is.

Also as a narcoleptic I should not be signing up for a job as a security guard or zookeeper đŸ€”
YAY TALK TO EACH OTHER
RADICAL HONESTY
FEELINGS
one last thing - normalizing having these conversations is important

if you're a cis white guy like me then people Listen to you, so use that power to make talking about disability a normal thing to do k
