Unintended consequences of pandemic just got personal! Grandad in his 90's worked hard to remain independent at home. Shielding resulted in huge deconditioning & functional decline. Fall = #NOF. This is not a surprise!Refer ALL shielders for functional rehab NOW. #RightToRehab
All Community Therapy Services need to adapt their focus to ensure PREhabiliation is a priority! Needed daily RSW visits to support, not just a sheet of exercises! A sad " I knew it" for me but this Rx did not happen for him. Shame he doesn't live in NW where it would have!
