We are appalled by the homophobic smear campaign against @AlexBMorse and deeply disturbed to learn that vague allegations were weaponized in bad faith to take down a young, gay progressive running against the political establishment.
False allegations of sexual misconduct are deeply harmful to LGBTQ individuals seeking to run for office and also make it harder for survivors to come forward.
