One do the issues I take with “internet criticism” is I am fine with 1:1 criticism in private and usually to someone’s face.
Whether intentional or not, when it’s public, it’s an invitation for the worst ppl to just harass someone.
MOST Creators should know that and know better https://twitter.com/nbtjacklyn/status/1295069461947588614

None of this is an accusation to anyone in this situation.
But Creator harassment keeps many new and young Creators from even starting because they feel they have to be perfect or that they will get a wave of hate...
It’s also why new talent doesn’t rise in some communities.

And beyond all of that their are the actual a-holes who do (not in this case) know what they are doing.
Their criticism is not to correct a creator or make them better but to punish or attack them or hurt them for personal or petty reasons.
It doesn’t make our community better

Criticism has its place.
In the real world most ppl don’t go out of their way to put someone on blast or to embarrass them.
Real life criticism is done by ppl directly, and privately and it’s a conversation.
That’s not what doing it on the internet is. That’s called bullying.
