1/ If I were a conspiracy theorist, I might think the ongoing lockdowns, masking, and social distancing, despite almost-zero deaths, is due to a desire to demonstrate to the world how international elites can fraudulently call the shots in defiance of facts and science.

2/ That is, let the elites go wild and wield power in absurd, implausible ways.

Then...they are unmasked.

That could be what’s going to happen. I hope so, anyway.

3/ Because, y’know, the existence of international coordination of absurd, authoritarian policy has been laid bare. We have learned one thing for sure: popular views and policies of our elected representatives can be controlled by international elites. We are played like fiddles.

4/ Their power is awesome: they can in the course of a couple of months shut down businesses worldwide, put millions on unemployment, make everyone follow absurd masking rules, etc.

What power! **I’m** impressed anyway!

And thanks to the Internet, we can all see that now.

5/ Imagine if the machinations of this bunch were also revealed by a few brave leaders—if we knew with certainty how all this insanity were arranged—if we *knew* our leaders knew that it was a sham even as they implemented their sham policies.

I can’t imagine what would happen.
