How many of you still remember the infamous 'Snoopgate' when Modi-Amit Shah were caught illegally spying on a girl using the Gujrat state machinaries? The claim was later accepted by BJP.

In October 2013, two investigative websites— Cobrapost. com and Gulail. com— announced that they had access to 267 audio recordings which contained telephone conversations in which Amit Shah was directing the illegal surveillance of a young woman and handed over to CBI.

Amit Shah had allegedly ordered the intrusive surveillance of the woman at the behest of someone mentioned on the supposed recordings of the event only as "saheb", whom many commentators have taken to mean was then Gujarat Chief Minister Modi.

BJP later acknowledged that Modi had used government resources to monitor “the girl,” but did so because her father had requested security for her. This claim was refused by her father later claiming he had asked Modi to only take care of her, and not to spy her.

This has to be noted that no authorisation for such extensive tracking, tailing and snooping was given. S K Saikia, then Ahmedabad's police commissioner, had said that he was not aware of any paperwork for such surveillance, and thus it was illegal. Interesting..right?

What's next is even more interesting!

"The girl" had a close friend IAS officer Pradeep Sharma, who was suspended by Modi government. He alleged that he was targeted because his elder brother, IPS officer Kuldeep Sharma had “unmasked” many of Modi’s misdeeds since the 2002 riots

Kuldeep Sharma had helped the CBI nail Modi’s right-hand man Shah in the Sohrabuddin fake encounter and also 1200 crores Madhavpura bank case. He said he was targeted because Modi mistakenly suspected him of possessing a CD that could sully "reputations". Where is the CD?

It has to be noted that later on many allegally fake cases were charged against both IAS-IPS brothers.

Kuldeep Sharma was later charged with a 31-year old assault case and jailed, while Pradeep Sharma was charged with alleged scam cases.

All because of confronting a man, Modi!
