🚨⚡️THREAD ⚡️🚨
Believe it or not, a Player taking pens can be the difference between you losing or winning your mini-league.

For my very first thread, I studied some stats from last season, and wrote down my thoughts on who I expect to take pens in the new season. Enjoy!

#FPL
Let's start with a very interesting one, newly promoted Leeds United

Pens last season: 6
Mainly on Pens: Klich (£5.5, Mid)

Klich scored each of his three attemps from the spot, and he's said to be set on pens. Priced at 5.5m, he looks like a viable spot for your midfield
🐺 Wolverhampton 🐺

Pens last season: 4
Mainly on Pens: Jimenez (£8.5, FWD)

The mexican FPL-Favourite is another asset with a 100% conversion rate, scoring all his 4 attempts from the spot. He's as set as it gets , and definitely doesn't lack in reliability.
🔵Man City🔵
Pens: 11
Mainly on Pens: Aguero (£10.5, FWD)

City struggled when it came to pens, scoring only 6/11. After multiple players who failed, KDB scored both of his attempts towards the end of the season - the only City player with a 100% success rate. Could this mean..
⚪️Fulham⚪️
Penalties: 5
Mainly on Pens: Mitrovic

Mitrovic was trusted with all Penalties awarded to Fulham, and managed to convert 4 of them. He's definitely set on Pens, and it doesn' look like he really lacks in reliability. Something to think about!
🏆Liverpool🏆
Penalties: 5
Mainly on Pens: Salah (£12 MID)

The Egyptian King is as cool as it gets from the spot, scoring all his 3 attempts last season. I struggle generally to remember a missed Pen from him. Him being on pens is the reason I will always choose Salah over Mane
👼Southampton👼
Penalties: 5
Mainly on Pens: Ward-Prowse (£6.0m, MID)

After Ward-Prowse missed two of his three attempts, FPL-Hero Ings was allowed to take the following two pens. Since he was also only able to score one of them, I really hope they take some pens in training.
West Bromwich
Penalties: 7
Mainly on Pens: Austin (5.5m, FWD)

After WBA's first 3 pens where taken from different players, Austin was the man for the last 4. And oh boy is he reliable, scoring 4/4. He may be an overlooked differential, but I have my doubts about WBA's attack.
🔴Burnley🔴
Penalties: 3
Mainly on Pens: Who the fuck knows

All of Burnleys penalties were taken by different players. The last one was given to C. Wood, but I wouldn't bet on him being the one set on pens.
⚪️Tottenham⚪️
Penalties: 4
Mainly on Pens: Kane (£10.5m, FWD)

As long as Kane is on the field, he's the one taking the responsibility from the spot. And that he doesn't lack the reliability isn't really a secret. Even if he only took two pens, he managed to score both of them
⚒️West Ham⚒️
Penalties: 4
Mainly on pens: Noble (£5.0m, MID)

Noble may have scored each of his 3 attempts, but what's really interesting to me ist that Antonio scored the last last one in July. He definitely gives Managers a further reason to buy him if he's gonna be on pens.
🔵Chelsea🔵

This is a very interesting one. 4 of Chelsea's 7 Pens were scored by Willian, who now left them. Some may think Jorginho (£5.0, MID) is his obvious replacement when it comes to penalties, but what if...
🦊Leicester City🦊
Penalties: 7
Mainly on Pens: Vardy (£10.0, FWD)

Vardy took 5 penalties, only missing one. As long as he's fit and on the field he's the one taking the responsibility from the spot, and will surely reward those Managers who still participate in the Vardy-Party
👹Man United👹
Pens: 14
Mainly on Pens: Bruno "hated by rival Fans" Fernandes (£10.5, MID)

Once Bruno came, it was clear who takes pens for UTD. Scoring 4/4, he's as cool as it gets when it comes to converting from the spot. Definitely someone who will make his owners proud.
🔴Arsenal🔴
Pens: 3
Mainly on pens: Aubameyang (£12.0, MID)

Auba is a safe option if you want to be sure that you own players who are on penalties. As a goal scoring Mid, there's no doubt Auba will reward his loyal owners with a nice amounts of points in the upcoming season.
The End.

This Thread may be nothing new/helpful to some FPL-Veterans, but I really hope I could help out at least one new member in the community.

Thank you so much for reading, every single interaction this thread gets will be highly appreciated.

Good luck to all of you!
