I think this off-season will end up being a learning experience for a lot of people in this industry.

The hollering, screaming, attention seeking, hot takes and everything in between tweets have been worse than ever.

Your success isn’t defined by likes, RTs and follows (1)
People always remember who you got wrong more often than who you got right. Instead of focusing on producing really good content, some decided Twitter was a quicker way to gain popularity.

For those in the industry working hard producing content, keep it up. That is the way (2)
Big companies that offer full time jobs in the industry don’t care about the number of people that follow you, how many RTs or likes you get.

The ones offering full times jobs don’t define your success by interacting with others in the industry.

They want tangible work. (3)
So this season, strive for that. Write, record, edit, research, etc. CREATE GOOD CONTENT! Do it over and over.

Content is what people want. Not crazy thoughts and loud yelling on Twitter.

Stick to that blueprint and success will come.
