WHY JANGO FETT ISN'T REALLY A VILLAIN.

A THREAD:

Hope you enjoy :)
Things you should know before reading:
- This is all legends (but it doesn't effect AOTC)

- All of this is from wookiepedia, just slimmed down. Yes that's how bored I've gotten

- A lot people think Jango is boring but I've always thought he had potential to be a great character
Both of Jango's parents were killed by Death Watch when he was very young. This led to him getting involved in The Mandalorian Civil War, he sided with the True Mandalorians (led by Jaster Mereel) against Death Watch (led by Tor Vizsla (father of Pre Vizsla))
As time went on, Jango finally got his revenge and was able to kill his parent's murderers. However, Mereel (who was like a father to him) was killed in battle, this meant that Jango was now the leader of the True Mandalorians.
During the Battle of Galidraan, Vizsla gained the Jedi's help by telling them that Jango and his men were political activists. This led to a battle, in which the Jedi killed all of Jango's men. He then killed six of the Jedi with his bare hands.
Jango was captured by the Jedi, delivered to Vizsla, who then sold him into slavery aboard a spice transport. Pirates attacked the ship, which allowed Jango to escape. He went back to Galidraan, recovered his armour and killed Vizsla.
The death of Vizsla meant the Civil War ended. Jango left Mandalore and never went back. He decided to become a bounty hunter to make a living and it gave him the chance to exact his revenge on the Jedi.

So really, he was just a simple man trying make his way in the universe.
